Alison Lowe OBE is the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime (DMPC) in West Yorkshire.

Ms Lowe was nominated for the role by Tracy Brabin, who was elected Mayor of West Yorkshire in May 2021. Ms Lowe then received the unanimous approval of the West Yorkshire Police and Crime Panel.

She has also worked with voluntary organisations for nearly 30 years and represented Armley on Leeds City Council from 1990 to 2019, as well as serving as Chair of the West Yorkshire Police and Crime Panel for five years.

Ms Lowe was formerly Chief Executive at Touchstone, a mental health and wellbeing charity based in West and South Yorkshire, she specialised in working with diverse communities.

In the New Year's Honours 2022, she was awarded an Officer of the British Empire (OBE) for services to mental health and wellbeing during COVID-19.
