APCC/NPCC are looking for two Portfolio Analysts to work as part of a small team which undertakes the portfolio management of a portfolio with a current value of c£400m comprising c90 programmes and projects supported by the Home Office’s Police Transformation Fund. The role will include supporting the Police Reform and Transformation Board (PRTB), the Policing Portfolio Board (PPB) and the other PRTB supporting structures to transform policing by 2025 to tackle new threats and improve the service for the public.  The PRTB is run jointly by the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners and National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) with membership from the Home Office, National Crime Agency, College of Policing and the Police ICT Company.

You will be responsible for high quality portfolio analytical support associated with the portfolio, developing and maintaining the systems and processes across the complex policing landscape. You will need to have a ‘can do’ attitude, with meticulous attention to detail, be hands-on, work highly effectively in a small team and be able to multi-task and prioritise work.
