APCC and NPCC Partnership Summit 2022 #policeconf22

APCC / NPCC Partnership Summit, 'Cutting Crime, Building Confidence', was held in Westminster on the 9 and 10 November.

The event brought together senior police officers, Police and Crime Commissioners, politicians, including the Home Secretary, Shadow Home Secretary and the Policing Minister as well decision-makers from national organisations.

APCC Chair, Marc Jones said: "This event has never been so timely or important. Not just for policing, but for community safety, for criminal justice and, of course for victims and the public we all serve. The agenda is packed full of thought-provoking sessions and engaging speakers."

Journalist, BBC newsreader and presenter, Clive Myrie, who chaired the two-day Summit said: "We've talked about fraud investigations. We've talked about violence against women, crucial subjects, and we've also talked about policing and protests and that was a spikey debate but passionate."
