Emily Spurrell, Merseyside PCC

Emily Spurrell was elected as Merseyside’s Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) in May 2021. Previously, Emily had served as Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner for Merseyside from September 2017 to March 2019.
Emily says she is particularly passionate about supporting victims and it was one of the reasons she stood for election.
"I want to make sure victims of crime are getting the support they need to be able to recover from the trauma of crimes, that they feel like they are getting justice and that their voices are being heard.
"I want the people of Merseyside to see the value of having a Police and Crime Commissioner and see the impact I can make on their behalf."
